What a fun photoshoot this was! Kristen is one of my dear friends-from-far-away. She and her family came to visit a few weeks ago (and to help me celebrate my birthday!) and while she was here, we just *had* to do a photoshoot. Here’s a sampling of them - isn’t she lovely?

Some friends of ours had a baby boy last Monday, and they asked me to come do a photoshoot and design birth announcements. The little fellow is so cute, and looks a lot like his daddy!

Being an on-location photographer has its advantages and disadvantages… one of the disadvantages is that winter isn’t really the best time to do a photo shoot! The sunroom is the best place in the house to set up things for an indoor shoot, since I can make the most of available light. It’s rather chilly out there… but we did manage to get some good shots!

I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot of my cousin’s family about a month ago… most of these are actually candid shots because we went to the park and, of course, the kids didn’t want to sit still! Who wants to pose for pictures when you can play?
